Challenges faced by James River Air Conditioning Company
Heat pumps, solar and air conditioning systems, building automation and indoor air systems, and boilers—the team at James River Air Conditioning Company has in-depth expertise in all of these technologies. Nearly 300 employees help residential and commercial customers install and maintain equipment, conduct energy audits, and provide them with first-class service. A service in which mobile devices are playing an increasingly important role. After all, they can be used to communicate with customers, process service tickets, and provide on-site support.
The company’s employees are equipped with iOS devices that allow them to do all of this quickly and easily—previously managed through MaaS360, IBM’s unified endpoint management system. In January 2022, however, James River Air Conditioning Company decided to switch to Ivanti (formerly MobileIron) and faced the challenges of migration.
