Purpose of EBF Contacts at R+F

Connection of the complete customer, dealer, and freight forwarder address book (approx. 90,000 contacts) and automatic phone number resolution on mobile devices—even while driving. For office employees and sales representatives in the field.

Product advantages of EBF Contacts for Richter+Frenzel

Thanks to EBF Contacts, employees can access their professional contacts easily, securely, and even offline while on the go—on iOS, iPadOS, and Android. This also convinced R+F.

EBF Contacts is based on industry standards and is not dependent on MDM-specific interfaces, which means it can be configured in all UEMs and is the same across the board. Ideal for rapid implementation in R+F in MobileIron and Intune at the same time.

Multiple and very different source systems can be connected, e.g., Exchange O365, On-Premise, HubSpot, Salesforce, other CRM systems, and also data sources such as Active Directory, etc. This is also no problem for R+F’s 90,000 contacts.

Automated CSV imports possible: Data from other sources is transferred to EBF Contacts via CSV import—regularly exported automatically, stored in encrypted form at an address accessible to the app, and synchronized automatically. This means that data from the ESTOS system from R+F is always available.

The address book is always up to date on mobile devices—automatically, even in offline mode. Employees can also access contacts and identify callers while in the car.

EBF Contacts works on Android devices and iPhones—regardless of whether you use BYOD, COPE, or COSU. With UEM integration and the use of an Android Work profile, you can prevent other apps from reading your contact data—as well as unwanted storage.

Success factors in collaboration: Transparent communication and cooperative product development

“EBF, our IT service provider, stands out for its high level of expertise and has been a reliable partner for many years. Thanks to our long-standing collaboration, we are in the fortunate position of being able to submit product requests to EBF – two new features are currently being tested in Q&A, which, among other things, enable contacts without email addresses to be deleted. We are eagerly awaiting these features and look forward to the extended use of EBF Contacts.”

“Working with R+F on the introduction of EBF Contacts was fantastic. We took on board suggestions from Dirk Züchner and his team immediately and implemented them in a targeted manner, enabling us to speed up processes and quickly reap the benefits of the app.”
