You don’t need to send us a traditional cover letter. A short personal statement is enough: Why do you want to join EBF? What excites you about the position—and what do you have to offer?

Now it’s our turn: Within 1–2 weeks, you will receive feedback on your application from us by phone or email.
In the first video call, you will meet a manager from the department and someone from our HR team. We will talk about you, your motivation, and your career to date—and you will have the opportunity to learn more about EBF, the team, and the role. It’s not an interrogation, but a conversation between equals.
If we like each other after the initial interview, we will invite you to a trial day in Cologne. This will give you a real insight into our everyday work and allow you to get to know your future team.
This will be followed by an in-depth second interview—tailored to your individual needs—so that both sides can assess whether it is really a good fit.
After the second interview, we will contact you by phone as soon as possible with honest feedback. And, of course, we look forward to hearing your feedback too.
If both sides agree, you will receive a transparent offer from us. We will then clarify the final details for your start—and off you go: Your career at EBF is ready to begin, and we will accompany you on your journey.
The first day is always special – and for us, it should be one thing above all else: uncomplicated. With a designated buddy and genuine team spirit, we make sure that you feel welcome from the very first moment and settle into your new role. Together with your team, you will receive a clearly structured roadmap for your first few weeks. This means you will always know what’s coming next—from system access to technical topics.
On the first day, we give a brief introduction to the company: Who is EBF, how do we work together, what tools, systems, and processes do we use in our daily work?
This gives you an immediate overview—and the first questions are often answered automatically.
An experienced colleague will accompany you during your first few weeks, answer questions, and help you find your feet in the team and with the processes. Professionally and personally—without any hierarchy.
After the first month, we will sit down with you to discuss what went well, where there may still be room for improvement, and what you need to continue feeling comfortable with us.
This feedback meeting is not a mere formality for us—it is part of an open, ongoing collaboration.
