We are delighted to have been honoured by Deutsche Telekom as “Best Mobile Business Enabler 2023”. For us, the award is a great compliment for our achievements, an honour for our successes and it stands for a great, long-standing partnership.

In an interview, Markus Adolph, founder and managing partner of EBF, talks about the cooperation with Deutsche Telekom and the many opportunities it opens up for both partners and their customers.

How did the collaboration with Deutsche Telekom begin?

We have been working together with Deutsche Telekom since 2012. At that time, we at EBF had just become the first European partner to start working with MobileIron, now Ivanti, because we realised how important it was for companies to be able to manage their mobile devices centrally.

Like us, Deutsche Telekom recognised the great relevance of mobile device management, which was still completely new at the time, and saw us as the perfect partner for services relating to the solution – from consulting to implementation and support.

What was initially a limited portfolio has grown over the years into a comprehensive Modern Workplace offering and continues to grow.

What do we offer?

We offer various technologies and services that are hugely important for a modern, digital workplace. A workplace where it doesn’t matter what device, where and when a person works, that offers a great user experience and is secure at the same time, where employees can be productive while IT is relieved.

Deutsche Telekom’s business customers can choose between various UEM solutions and rely on independent advice. We select exactly the right solution for the respective requirements, help with system changes and implementation and take the strain off the customer’s IT with our support and managed services. Thanks to our expertise in the enrolment programmes of Apple, Google and Samsung, we make the onboarding of devices as easy as possible. And a joint development by Deutsche Telekom and EBF – the eSIM Business Manager – makes it possible to manage and distribute eSIMs very easily.

Together with Deutsche Telekom, we have also developed a platform that covers the entire device lifecycle and simplifies all processes relating to mobile devices – from ordering, assembly and delivery to management, returns and device replacement. And our own products are also a great added value for Telekom’s business customers and take productivity in the company to a new level.

How do customers benefit from the offer from Deutsche Telekom and EBF?

Thanks to our cooperation, Deutsche Telekom business customers can obtain all services relating to the modern, digital workplace from a single source. Interfaces created especially for Telekom and its suppliers guarantee perfect integration into Telekom’s system landscape and ensure smooth processes on the customer side.

EBF’s extensive expertise, holistic approach and high level of agility perfectly complement Deutsche Telekom’s portfolio and structures and are supported by a partnership of equals. Both teams work very closely to constantly optimise and expand the portfolio of solutions and services – and with success. Because we also have the same dynamic that the market brings.

What does the award mean for the EBF?

We are delighted to receive the award and are proud to be part of this strong partnership. The “Enabler” award describes exactly what our goal is: we don’t just want to offer products and services, we want to enable partners and companies to realise their full potential.

The award is therefore a great compliment for our achievements. It shows that our solutions and services are a great added value for Deutsche Telekom’s customers and that our services are recognised within Deutsche Telekom. Certainly because we achieved many successes together. Despite a saturated market, we are gaining market share and new customers – primarily with our Managed Service offering and increasingly also with our eSIM Business Manager.

The award is the result of a great, long-standing partnership to which many people contribute. I would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank the team at Deutsche Telekom and EBF, who work together with such passion. Without this commitment and trust in us, this success would not be possible. We look forward to continuing to achieve a great deal together in the future and to pursuing innovative paths. Because the award is of course also an motivation for us.
