The joint Telekom and EBF portfolio is growing

Telekom and EBF Portfolio

Telekom and EBF have been offering joint solutions for the digital workplace for many years, enabling Telekom’s business customers to ensure efficient management of equipment and reduce the burden on their IT. As the requirements of companies and users as well as technologies are constantly changing, both companies are continuously working on new solutions that take these developments into account. At the end of March, Deutsche Telekom has therefore expanded its Unified Endpoint Management portfolio and now offers VMware Workspace ONE as a UEM system in addition to MobileIron. This gives corporate customers an even wider range of options and allows them to choose the UEM system that suits them best. EBF can advise customers on the systems and support them with implementation, system change and operation.

Different UEM systems

Unified Endpoint Management systems enable the management of all endpoints from a single, centralized platform, providing security, efficiency and a positive user experience. There are various providers whose solutions meet the requirements of companies in different ways and are therefore suitable for different purposes. For example, they harmonize particularly well with other software or support certain operating systems in a special way. MobileIron and VMware are among the leading providers of UEM systems and are therefore part of the Telekom portfolio. Thanks to the expanded portfolio, Deutsche Telekom business customers can now choose between these two powerful systems. While MobileIron interacts particularly well with third-party vendors, such as Zimperium, and offers a differentiated product portfolio suitable for various deployment scenarios, VMware Workspace ONE is multi-tenant from scratch and to a large extent, offers very good management options for more complex corporate structures and is, all in all, a very well-balanced platform for different types of devices, including support for WinCE.

In addition to providing advice on the appropriate UEM system, EBF also helps companies to introduce or change the system or to further exploit the solution already in use. The EBF also offers other comprehensive managed services that help companies to further reduce the burden on their IT. After all, the one-time installation of a system is not enough as new releases have to be installed regularly and changes to user groups and the distribution of new apps may be necessary.

The EBF can take on all these tasks, thereby offering Deutsche Telekom’s business customers considerable added value. Thanks to the cooperation between the two companies, they can obtain all services relating to the digital workplace from a single source. Interfaces specially created for Telekom and its suppliers guarantee perfect integration into Telekom’s system landscape and thus into customers’ processes.

“With the expanded product portfolio, we can now offer customers an even wider choice and ensure that every company can find exactly the right solution for its needs,” explains Theodor Micklinghoff, Vice President Mobile Business Corporate Accounts Telekom Deutschland GmbH. Together, EBF and Deutsche Telekom already serve more than 700 customers worldwide and are working on new solutions that always focus on customer benefit.
